Me and my wife visited this little restaurant/pub october 2013. It was located pretty close to our hotel and is also close to the Blaha Luka (spelling?) metro station, appr. 500 meters walk.

We can highly recommend anyone going to Budapest to visit this place! It was a really nice place. The food was very, very good, they had lot of good beers to. Certainly not very expensive. This place was a great mix of good food and still a relaxed pub.

When we visited it was a very slow thursday night, but I got the impression that this is a place where the locals and the hipsters of Budapest could go for a meal or to drink a few beers.

The man serving us was very friendly and could speak good english.

Highly recommended!

We also were there in early August. We enjoyed our meal. The restaurant was bright, the decor eclectic and eccentric, and the service was excellent and accommodating, and the menu was bi-lingual. We ordered traditional Hungarian soup. My friend had gulyas leves (goulash soup excuse spelling) and I had fruit soup. It was very tasty. I also went downstairs to use the bathroom and they were clean and modern european style with tile everywhere. Wish we could have gone back to listen to live music but we were on a day trip from Vienna and had to catch the train. Over all it was a great experience and I would do it again.

I was in the Drunken Tailor (a részeg szabó) with my family for lunch today....the food was great, the service was fast and friendly (I could order and talk to the staff in English!) and the restaurant looks really nice and clean, airy and bright.
The menu's are in five languages and the food is really delicious and there are real healthy alternatives if you prefer veggies and tofu. (my wife had that and loved it)
Downstairs there is a brilliant cellar for live music and events and I'm going there on Friday for some live music before I end my trip here.
