Owner description: Exit game? Room escape? Puzzle solving game? Team building? Having fun with others? The love of enclosure. And of course the catarsis what you feel when you are already out. This is the transplantion of the well known adventure and point & click games into the reality, where the searching, the puzzle solving and the excitement remains, but the experience becomes touchable and the place is real. You need to find real objects, combine and use them with which across the dozens of logical and ability games you get nearer to the final puzzle which gives you the key to escape. You have one hour in this environment closed from everyday life, where the ancient surviving and problem solving instincts inside of you can revive. You need to work in team, watch every details, every hint in the rooms to accomplish the game. Prepare yourself, we created the puzzles in a way that you need to use your brain capacity on the maximum level, to push your limits and of course to feel all right behind the padlocks.

As a local guy, I have been to several room-escape room/cellars with our escape team in Budapest, so we ended up in Claustrophilia as well.

Fist of all most of the room-escape points are located in a cellar in Budapest, but Claustrophilia is located in a flat. This makes it very accessible with any kind of transportation and also is easy to find (from the street you can already see the big advertisement)

After a lot of exit games I tried, I was expecting in Claustrophilia the same: locks after locks and locks again and at last I have to find the out the 3-digits to open them......but this went quite different at Claustrophilia. They have lots of other creative ideas how to open the doors, find the keys, etc..I really liked those ideas which were very unique so far. On top of that when I was thinking the game was over....it was not :)

The stuff is also very enthusiastic and were good hosts.

Amongst the bunch of room-escape places in Budapest, my opinion is that Claustrophilia is definitely one of the bests, worth to try.

“Live room escape game in the city center of Budapest”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 27, 2013

In Budapest the so called live escape games are quiet popular. They are like the flash room escape games where you need to find the way out from a room using objects and solving logical puzzles. The live room escape games are the same but the situation is that you and your team are closed in a room and you need to escape in an hour. There are more than 20 games in Budapest and the Claustrophilia is one of the newest game in its genere and this is reallty unique game amongst them.
Actually it combines logical puzzles and ability games and also you need to find and use objects in order to escape. So it is a complex game and the biggest thing in that that you don't need to speak hungarian to play this game, so it is good also for foreigner people.
Me and my friends enjoyed the one hour of gameplay very much and I hope that they will open another room soon.
Plus they have more discounts for students, for families and for couples as the maximum people who can play at a time are 5.
