“Great location to spend a day doing what the locals do - relaxing”
Reviewed August 17, 2014

Once again, this place was recommended by a Hungarian friend, who lives in Budapest. So, on a warm Sunday, this friend, and a few others, and myself set out to have brunch and spend the day here. We arrived by ferry from Budapest, started with some drinks, followed by yummy grilled chicken. While the food was quite nice, what I would recommend this place for is the location and ambience. It was very relaxed, by the banks of the Danube, and a place that it seems only the locals know. A place to do what the Hungarians do best - relax, drink and eat. Since some friends had return flights back home that Sunday, we got back into Budapest by taxi. Great day!

“A hidden gem”
Reviewed July 14, 2014

The only con of this place is that it's a bit out of town, But it does worth a trip if you would like to enjoy nice food ( Hungarian snack types, and little bites) or a drink and just to sit by the bank of Danube. Expect he most calm and most romantic spot in Budapest. my favorite hide in Budapest!

“Very nice place, terrible food”
Reviewed May 18, 2014

Although the location and the idea of the place is perfect, stay away from eating there! The amount and the quality of the food they serve compared to the price they charge is ridiculous.

“A 'beach day' in Budapest? Go on.”
Reviewed May 13, 2014

Everyone, when I say this is probably one of Budapest's best hidden secrets, I really do mean it. If you're visiting the city in the summer, do yourselves all a favour and hire one of the many city bicycles available and cycle along the banks of the Danube to the area called 'Római-part' where you'll find gorgeous pebbled beaches along the river! This place is buzzing with that feeling you only get when its summer and you have fresh home-made lemonade or an ice-cold beer in your hands. There are plenty of places to try out some of Hungary's street-food offerings too.

Fellini is just one such place. With an epic vibe, chilled out tunes, beach with chairs, refreshments and friendly staff, Fellini is a Római-part institution not to be missed! We've gone several times and we enjoy each trip just as much as the last. There is plenty places for you to chain your bikes up too.

TOP TIP: If you feel up to it, you can continue cycling to the historic village of Szentendre - known for its museums, galleries, artists and marzipan houses :D It's a mere 13km from Római-part.

“Great chill-out place”
Reviewed July 25, 2013

Came here in the end of July. Perfect weather, perfect belgian beers (not so may but good ones) and delicious, even though simple food just to fill up your stomach a bit. Great to relax and enjoy the Danube... Difficult to get without a car but totally worth it!
