This is the kind of place my wife and I love to find! Not pretentious, but clean and comfortable ambience on a quiet lane in Budapest. There is outside seating; and inside, lots of dark wood, but lighting strong enough to see your meal. Friendly, attentive service. Good English with only a light accent. Great menu with some inventive dishes (pike perch with ginger sauce, for example) and several Hungarian standards (chicken paprikash was delicious). Everything was cooked perfectly. Nice wine list, too. The Hungarian version of Tira Misu was a standout for dessert!
They add 13% service charge, but it is prominently noted on the menu so you won't be surprised. Overall, it was a delightful evening!
