“Good for non exigeant customers”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 24, 2014

We wanted to go with my wife to another place, but all the tables were reserved, so we went to Kazimir. My duck sausage and drumstick were suitable, but my wife's zander was really very good!

One waitress wasn't so nice, but the second one was very kind and with a nice smile. The prices are fair :-)

“Great food, nice price”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 18, 2014

The restauraunt is in the ruin pubs area of Budapest. I wanted something to eat and some of the other establishments were too crowded or didn't instil confidence. Kazimir had an outdoor section in a courtyard which I chose to eat in. There was a relaxed atmosphere about the place.

The menu offered a limited choice of dishes, all of them appealing. I chose cold sour cherry soup, lecso-Hungarian ratatouille with sliced chorizo and a chocolate mouse.

The soup was served with a scoop of lemon sorbet and was a fantastic combination of flavours. The lecso was wholesome and spicy and the mousse was to die for.

It was the most appealing meal that I ate in Budapest. The bill including beer and coffee was a very reasonable twenty Euros.

“Excellent food (especially the goulash)”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 18, 2014

We were here for lunch and we were starving. Although the prices are a little bit on the high side, it was definitely worth it.
The food was delicious and the portions were pretty large.
They had a special lemonade which was very good too (and I got the recipe for it:D). We both had some of their specialties as the main course... both were excellent.

As a side note, do not pay in Euros, they will have a worse exchange rate than the normal (a thing we noticed everywhere in Budapest). Other than this, it was excellent.

“Loved this place”

We ate here twice. Staff great without being in your face, garden is best place to eat, inside can be hot but not a problem.

“Very good for goulash and beer!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 8, 2014

I was in a rush at a non-peak time and they gladly served me lunch, even though it was kind of late.

I only ordered a goulash and a beer. However, I have to say that after trying goulash in various other places, this was one of the best I had in Budapest.
