It is a bit hidden but definitly worth visiting to relax from your shopping. They have literally 1000 teas and they sounded great on the menu. I had first a chai tea and after that a turkish apple tea which were great. We also played backgammon and were just sitting around in the cafe for probably two hours. The staff was very relaxed and didn't push us into order more after we were done. If you like tea then you will love this place!

This gem of a tea room is hidden up an alley from the famous Váci utca in Budapest, it gives a very welcome break from the many restaurants trying to pull you in from the street as you pass, this is well worth a visit.
The menu reads like an encyclopaedia of tea, and there really are very teas available, all written in Hungarian and English. A bell is given with the menu, and this is rung when you are ready to order, or need help deciding.
Service is first class, and an explanation of how to pour and drink my Tie Guan Yin Imperial Kung Fu tea was happily demonstrated.
There is a small food menu, and I chose pita bread with cheese and dried plums (prunes), which complemented the tea nicely.
An online shop also exists, where the many teas can be ordered.
The interior is small, but cool, and there is also a small seating area outside.

Hidden in the south part of Budapest famous Vaci Utca between Erzsébet and Szábádsag bridges, this place offers an incredibly carte of tea from all around the world. The great challenge is to pick a choice unless you have it in your mind before stepping in. Décor is sober and dark creating a very intimist atmosphere.
This spot really deserves a try.
