A great way of seeing Budapest, you can hop off the bus along the way & also includes a river trip in the price of the ticket approx £20 each, but, well worth it

It did not start out well with the 10:30 bus arriving at Gellert Spa at 10:45. Several of us got on and rather than give everyone earphones right away, the girl collected the money or voucher from each person and printed their receipt. It was nearly two full stops before we got our earphones. At the Buda Castle, one bus did not show at all so it was over an hour between buses.

The next morning, the 10:30 bus at Gellert Spa arrived after 11 while we waited in the cold and rain. When I asked the girl if Big Bus was ever on time she said "traffic" in a very rude manner. "Is this your first day in business? If not, you should know traffic patterns when you make your schedules." She replied "That is your problem, not ours" and walked away. I yelled after her "How come the red buses were all on schedule and they go through the same traffic?" She ignored me.

At each stop people got on complaining about the time and they were treated the same. My advice, which I gave numerous oeople waiting to buy tickets at various stops, is to go with another company.

Big bus tour was a good deal for a quick wrap for all the attractions in Budapest. One round for a brief and the another for specific interested location. All in all it was the perfect deal :)

We decided on the night tour as we did not have time to do the day tour, it was horrible! We were, what I thought, 'lucky' to get front row top deck seats for unobstructed view of the sites but ended up more concentrating on how many people the driver could scare out of the way than anything else. He whizzed by all the sites with not even a moments pause to take a decent picture and arrived 10 minutes early from the what was supposed to be a 1 hour tour. We decided to voice our dismay at how he treated the pedestrians in the street as well as the speedy tour and our comments were received with indifference.

What seemed like a good idea...turned into frustration!!!! The buses never seemed to be on schedule always running late.We waited one time for 45 min...no bus...walked into a shop to get a bottle of water and as we walked out the bus pulled up....barely stopped and took off! The biggest disappointment was the boat ride on the Danube. We showed up thirty minutes early for the ride......went to three different piers....non marked for the boat ride. Finally found the right pier, the boat was hidden behind a moored floating boat restaurant....as we walked up the ramp....we noticed the boat pulling away!!!!! When we asked who we could complain to....everyone just shrugged their shoulders!!!! In Budapest....leaving the next morning and one oor main bucket list items....a cruise down the Danube River....denied!!!
