“Relaxing Turkish Bath, fantastic massage”

As other travellers noted, it is a hard to find place...Located close to the Margit bridge Buda side,
next to the Komjati/Csaszar Uszoda (swim-centre) is a white building which is a hospital. The hospital and the bath belongs to the Ordo Hospitalarius (Irgalmas Rend). You enter this building and ask the reception and they will point you to the right direction.
I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, only a couple of people used the baths..I tried the different temperature baths, Jacuzzi , sauna, pool.. all were very clean and inviting.
After all that soaking, had a fantastic massage. The therapist asked which area needed the most attention and found all the right spots. Definitely recommended after the bath...

Hard to find yes, but definitely worth the searching. This indoor thermal turkish bathhouse is located within the Hospital on Arpad Fejedelem utja, next to the Csaszar Baths, which are outdoors. Very clean and quiet. Mostly locals using the baths. It has a main thermal bath, many spas, a wet steam room, a sauna and an infra sauna. Cost only 2500F per person.

We were only in Budapest for three days and wanted a half-day experience of some thermal baths. We had been intending to go to another place but decided at the last minute to try these baths instead. How happy we were that we did. We were welcomed into an exclusive-feeling building, which smelled fresh and looked amazing. Obviously they did a great job with the recent renovations. It has pools of different temperatures set around the main dome and then you walk outside and under a covered section to find emotional showers, saunas and turkish baths. Beautiful marble floors everywhere...this place is like a 5 star hotel spa. Very quiet and peaceful and it looks like the main hordes of tourists don't even know it exists. No caps or footwear was needed, whcih is so liberating as some of the baths insist on those. Girls, wear your hair up and you'll be fine. Mixed baths so you can go with your partner / spouse. TIP: take your own (or the hotel's) towels as you don't get one from them. All this for around £5 per person makes for a cheap but incredibly luxurious experience. If you don't want to go to the 'disney'esque larger spas, go here for an elegant and relaxing session. What a beautiful place....I can't believe people gave it one star simply because they couldn't find it!!! If you can't, ask a local for Veli Bej turkish baths (they know it by this name) and they will happily point you in the right direction.

I read the reviews and walked all over looking for this. I went EXACTLY to Frankel Leo ut 54 and there is no spa there. I found a woman there and she directed me to a sport facility nearby. Maybe this existed at some point or not..but I couldn't find it and I searched!

We turned up and were told that it was a hospital! Then they said that the centre was closed because the water level in the Danube was too high!'
