We (a couple) were interested to go into this pizza place because of nice looking head of Leonardo da Vinci at the front door. We thought it is funny that pizzeria has such a cute entrance, but it was the only positive experience from there at the end of the day...
At first, this restaurant reminded us of a storage. It looks like that pizzeria is oriented mainly on delivery and summer terrace. When you go down into the restaurant, Coca-Cola boxes, packed summer chairs/tables and ugly old computer devices are waiting for you. We even found paper notebook of the waitress on our table. On the telivision, there was loudly working darts competition no matter that besides us and another couple sitting right under the TV was noone.
We waited for a pizza for more than 30 minutes even that cooking and delivery right to your door does not take usually more than 30 minutes at other pizza places. However, delivery to our table was a long process. Broken plates (even that there were only four customers inside) was another point of their "great" service.
Pizza was not tasty at all. The one, which was called "Leonardo" (and supposed to be their special one) contained the most tasteless and cheap looking shrimps you will ever see in your life together with boiled eggs, which didn't fit into the pizza at all. It was one of the first times, when we didn't fihish pizza.
The prices didn't look cheap for Budapest: 1,500 HUF per 32 cm. pizza is a way expensive for the quality of food that they offer. In other pizza places nearby, it is possible to order drink+pizza for less than 1000 HUF or to get much more better quality pizza right to your door for quite same price. At least, you will finish it peacefully at home watching some TV show or film that you like on the cozy sofa rather than watching darts in the storage.
