Failing to find the neighbouring Borsso open on a Saturday evening, we ended up in this small restaurant, in Kepiro utca, near Kalvin Square. Once it housed the excellent Kepiro Restaurant (since closed) and this was a much inferioir visit. According to information on the Net, the owners (who are young) serve the food, and as they are pleasant people, I do not cherish that all I can offer is criticism. However, they solicited reviews. Our food was bland, of commercial quality, using pre-processed raw materials. My pasta dish (with artichokes and cheese) was very odd - the cheese was too much, and then was topped with lots more cheese - not Parmesan as indicated on the menu (and not even grana padano). The chicken breast with salad was unimaginative, as well as the plate of antipasti. It is really a pity as the service was swift, and friendly. It was very odd to observe that at a nearby table, a child dropped her napkin - which was spotted by the waiter, he picked it up and put it back on the table. Hereby I send the suggestion that in such a case, a new, clean one ought to be supplied. I am sorry not to be able to be more positive - there is a steep learning curve for the owners, especially on such a central spot.
