“Budapest -"Queen of the Danube",by boat”
Reviewed October 24, 2012

Budapest city can be detected in various ways, but if you do this cruise on the Danube, it gives you the ability to do the most relaxed way. Legenda Limited and Maharta Passnave are two companies that offer you the cruise, as well as links to outside Budapest tourist attractions, such as Szentendre, Visegrad and Ostrogon (Esztergom).
"Queen of the Danube", often referred to as the capital of Hungary , has 7 bridges-
"Arpad hid" is a modern bridge. Connects Buda and Pest with the northern part of the island Margit. It is the northernmost bridge in the city or the first bridge. It measures 973 meters long and the longest in the city.
The next bridge easily recognized in the form of the letter "V". It is "Margit hid" and connects Buda and Pest with Margit island. Through it, traffic trams number 4 and 6
The oldest and most beautiful bridge in Budapest "Széchenyi" or "Chain Bridge" which was built in the 1849th year. This bridge will surely impress the most, because it is hanging.
The two ends of the bridge to continue to "Razveltov Square" in Budapest and "Adam Clark Square" in Budapest. The bridge is named after a Hungarian politician Ištvan .
During the construction of this bridge was considered a world wonder. Interestingly, the Hungarian aerobatic pilot, Peter Bešenji, flew by plane turned upside down under a bridge, and since then it's a standard attraction that is running on the "Red Bull" races. Beside the bridge is a monument of marble in the form of zero and a so-called. "Zero kilometer", a place where all distances are measured in Hungary.
The next bridge is the "Erzesbet hid", built 1903rd , but it was the Germans destroyed the 1945th, the current version was built in the 1964th
The simplest, but no less beautiful is "Szabadsag hid." Connects the public bath "Gallert" in Buda with the largest shopping mall in Budapest.
"Petofi hid" has long been the most southernmost and most heavily traffic. However, building the "Lágymányos hid" the bridge, which is the latest in Budapest, that has changed.
This bridge will leave you breathless. The modern architecture and the special lighting gives it an original touch.
The most beautiful view of the bridge is from the "Citadel" located at the top of the hill, "Gellert" in Buda

“Beautiful, relaxing, and informative”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

At the last minute before sunset, we decided to take a cruise on the Danube. The Hilton nearby told us to go down the Pier and we would find numerous options. There was a yellow one story small structure that was selling cruises from I believe different companies. Because we wanted to catch the sunset cruise, we opted for the 5:30PM on the Duno Corso. They provide a welcome soda, as well as an audio guide, which was very informative. It was a very enjoyable time and I highly recommend it!
