“A great location in Budapest”
Reviewed December 27, 2012

Great help from all the staff... helped up book spa stay, cab rides, and tried to get us Nutcracker tickets, but Budapest Opera was sold out. Breakfast was a expensive for what you get, but the eggs were the best we've ever had. Location was great, but definitely get a map of the city.
We will definitely be back when we visit Budapest again.

Room Tip: Look for a room with the breakfast and internet included... those were expensive when you had to pay...

I travel regularly to Budapest and always enjoy the Adina Hotel : very spacy hotel rooms , very clean and modern bathroom, small kitchen to prepare coffee and tea, swimming pool / steam bath and sport area open early in the morning, for 80€ per night.
Very friendly employees , very good service.

I have lived in Adina Apartment Hotel Budapest for 5 days in 2011 and the experience was wonderful. I was working in UNHCR during this period and the walking distance from hotel to office made my stay very comfortable. The hotel is also very close to the Danube and an evening walk will take you through most of the lovely riverside.

The hotel serves a good breakfast and is situated next to a lot of shops, supermarkets and bakeries. The room was equipped with a kitchenette and was very well maintained.

This was my first trip to Budapest & the Adina, with friends who had been there before. The 2 bedroom suite apt was gorgeous, with a balcony off each room. The decor was chic yyet comfortable, and the location of the hotel is perfect. The Metro is ten minutes walk away, with a supermarket, shops & a day spa around the corner. The all you can eat Hungarian buffet place, Trofea is just around the corner. A wide range of food which was Yum :) & all drinks (including local champagne) included in the price (just under 20 euros). Excellent value for money. The local bakery produce was so good & provided breakfast on more than one day. There were sufficient cooking facilities and kitchenware in the 2 bed apartment. Staff in Adina were pleasant, courteous and helpful. I would definitely return.

Room Tip: Get a room with balconey if you like some fresh air :) . I found the rooms a little too warm for me...

I discovered Adina Budapest sometime in the past ten years and since then I've returned again and again, either solo or bringing different friends who have each been charmed by the city and the hotel.
It is extremely well located (just minutes walk from Lehel Ter metro), about ten minutes walk from St Istvan's Basilica (one of the locations for 2012 Christmas Markets) and about a twenty minute stroll from the centre.
There are plenty of bars and restaurants (see Trofea for example which I highly recommend) nearby.
The staff are consistently helpful and friendly and small touches like a welcome note and chocolates in your room really make this feel like a home away from home.
They've changed the mattresses recently but if you find them a little firm for your taste just make a quick call to reception/housekeeping and they'll promptly supply a mattress topper which makes all the difference.
There is a lovely pool and jacuzzi area and the onsite massage therapist knows her stuff (if you want something more relaxing, go next door to Mandala http://www.mandaladayspa.hu/ )

Room Tip: If you can manage to get one of the apartments, these are more spacious and offer a home away from h...

if you want a lot of space with fully equipped kitchen, spacious living room and a bedroom, this is the place to choose in Budapest. The swimming pool and a gym make the whole place very appealing for active people, short distance to West End shopping mall is also a quality.

Room Tip: don't get discouraged when you leave the elevator - just follow the signs and eventually you'...

Clean, faultlessly friendly, a really comfortable place to stay.

However business travelers will hate the old fashioned wifi access system: it's dreadful. Wifi should NOT be an extra when traveling. Internet access is as essential as tap water. Why is it restricted? it's time for the Adina to catch up.
