We booked our city break through e-bookers as it was the best price.
The hotel is wonderful and the location is great, it has a tram stop outside, or a 2 minute walk takes you to Oktogon Metro station.
Our room was nice a big and well furnished. However, the mini bar is really over priced... a litre bottle of water was 2,600 forints!! Which is over 7 quid!!
The nightclub below the hotel is very suspect!! The entertainment reminded us of "Phoenix Nights". It was appalling!! The two old men played a guitar and a keyboard... and the female singer.. bless her... did her best but really didn't know the words to most of the English language songs!!
I notice in previous reviews, people warn about the prostitutes in the night club.... they are still there!! Its not easy to miss them as they sit at the bar eyeing up all the new potential clients as they walk in!! Its quite entertaining too!!
The breakfast is wonderful at this hotel.. there is so much choice.
We really recommend a trip to the Szechenyi Thermal Baths, they are huge. One of the outdoor pools has the fastest lazy river I have ever experienced!! It was fantastic!! The whole place has to be seen to be believed... its an experience!!More
