“OK for short stay”

Helpful staff, parking a little tight so becareful in sallon type vehicle or larger people carrier.
There's a charge for using the fridge around 5 euro's a must during the summer months, air con actually works well. Bathrooms could do with brightening up or re-vamp; seems popular with coach partys' especially during breakfast time, reception will call you if you have the time to wait in your room for a phone call advising of a free table.

This is situated at a very convenient place. subway and metro is just a walk away. The place is worth the price.
They should include charges of mini bar in the room rent rather then charging it separately.

First of all, The pictures shown in the net are misleading, The location is misleading, the Hotel is far from the underground statin and from the trams,
It is located far from the center 5 stations 30minutes.
The Sanitary is poor , we recieved a room with 3 beds ( we were 3 people), the Bthroom was dirty the bed was dirty the service was bad.
after complining we recieved an apartment with one large bed and one sofa bed, it was cleaner but still not for a normal person.
The minibar ( this is a joke) was turned off and when requesting to pug it in we were told that we have to pay 1200 HUF for a day ( for electricity) this is a rip off.
Overall i would stay away from this hotel, i could write a book on the experience.

Room Tip: Stay away durty rooms not worth the saving. far from the city and the underground station.

We spent 3 nights at the hotel and we were satisfied. The service was good and the stuff was helpful . The room was big and clean. Breakfast included big variety of dishes and it was tasty. The hotel is 300 meter away from the Metro.

Picked this place as it was near the bus station and after a days travelling from Berlin I knew I'd just want to flop.check in was a bit slow as the guy was busy flirting with an Anna kournikova lookalike and who could blame him although she always looked too much like Boris Yeltsin for my tastes.
The room was massive.A big double in an alcove and a made up pull out bed so I had a choice!Briefly considered setting my alarm so I could swap during the night but opted for the double.Big toilet with all the neccasary stuff.Shouts and stuff in hall but that's hardly the hotels fault although there were some fairly scantily clad young ladies in the lobby and a vaguely louche atmosphere abounding ...
Breakfast was fine
Hotel is near tram, subway, taxis but it is out of the way....

Please do not stay here! This hotel was just gross. It is an old communist style huge block building and has not been upgraded probably since the 1950's - including the beds and sheets! I didn't want to even sleep in the bed because it was so gross. The bed and pillow were so uncomfortable. The hotel faces the tram line and is also over the subway, so anytime either one when by the building shook. I woke up at 5:30 because it was so loud!

When we got to the hotel they were having computer problems so we couldn't even check in. There is a refrigerator in the room but they charge 5 euros to turn it on!! I couldn't believe it! Although I don't think I would have wanted to put my food in the fridge because it was so dirty! The breakfast was average, with a few hot items to choose from. For the price we paid 60 euros a night - it was not worth it!

Room Tip: Don't stay here

My husband and I recently spent a wonderful 4 night break in Budapest staying at the Tulip Inn and what a gem it turned out to be.
Situated on a main road close to a Metro station, it offers a good standard of accommodation with a huge clean bedroom with a comfortable bed and large en-suite bathroom. Towels are changed whenever you want them to be - just leave them in the bath so the staff know.
The breakfast/dining area was adequate and offered a wide choice of breakfast menu, so even the pickiest eater will find something to their taste. we didn't eat there in the evenings as there are so many places to choose from in the city, so can't comment on dinner.
All the staff were extremely pleasant, helpful and courteous and for the price you pay to stay here you do get vaue for money. The day we left we odered a packed lunch to take with us and were given if free of charge!!!
Don't pay too much attention to the negative reviews on this site, go and see for yourself as everyones opinion is different. We would definately reccommend.
