Me and other two friends went on a Tuesday evening and paid 16€ for wellnes and termal experience.

The baths are very big! In fact it’s to get lost but there are a lot of maps indicating everything and also personall is very avaliable.

The locker rooms are for both men and women but obviously have changing rooms, bathrooms and showers (equipped with bath foam). To enter the locker rooms and all of the batsh you have a bracelet that also allows you to lock your locker (very efficient). And also the locker rooms have a really cool device that rinses your swimsuit from all the water.

My personal favorites were the pools on the ground floor in which you switch from very hot to very cold, and also the termal part (that Tuesday was accesible to only women) was spectaculare and last but not least the rooftop is amazing but tricky to find so it’s better to ask.

Not really crowded when we went and very organized. We had a great experience. 4 stars just because it was frustrating sometimes when we didn’t find what we were looking for so i would maybe recommend more directions.

Please note that all the baths in Budapest are historical so if don’t except VIP treatment or complete relax like todays spas then you will certainly appreciate everything more.

The place, located in the Buda side of the city at the margins of the Danube, is a welcome break after a couple days exploring the vivid Budapest. The wellness area counts with a small range of saunas and thermal pools, as well as a small but cosy round warm pool at the terrace with view to the river and the city (where the instagrammers will probably be). The traditional thermal baths area (available separatley or in the “all in” ticket) offer a more unique experience, with rustical atmosphere and a singular dress code (at least in the days with single-sex admittance, you must wear loin cloths that only cover your genitals, available for fee, which might feel awkward at first but not as much if you’re used to the nudist dress code of German mixed saunas, for example). Important: If you’re willing to explore this area of the Baths, make sure to check in advance in which days you’re allowed in. For those staying long enough to feel hungry, avoid eating at the regular bar near the thermal baths: the staff there is not exactly the most friendly and the sandwiches/salads don’t taste at all. Choose instead the Bistro upstairs which serves delicious and more varied dishes and will allow you in and treat you well regardles if you’re wearing swimsuits or regular clothes (there’s an entrance from outside of the complex as well).

Really enjoyed a few hours at the Rudas baths. There are a few options for entry fees which can be confusing, we went for "all in" which gave us access to all the baths, thermal pools, wellness centre, saunas and rooftop pool. This cost us just over 6000 huf each.
It isnt the easiest place to find your way around but if you take your time and explore you'll eventually find everything.
The traditional turkish thermal baths are great there's the central pool which is at 36oC then 4 outer pools all at different temperatures.
If you walk through this section and up to the restaurant, you can then walk round to the main pool, past this to the more modern baths/pools then up to the rooftop pool. There is a small bar up on the roof.
The saunas and steam rooms are very nice, there are multiple at different temperatures.
Plenty of fresh water fountains around too.

Lovely place to spend a few hours. Could spend longer if you booked massages and ate in the restaurant etc.

It can get very busy so I can see why some people say they cant relax. I found there were a lot of people but they moved around a lot so you could always find somewhere to sit/relax.

Some days are still Male only so check before you go!

A good place to finish your long day in buda side , relaxing and charmful atmosphere , with old fashioned design that increasing the total exeperience , not so crowded.
Hottest bath is around 40 degrees , they have changing rooms so you can chose the cheaper daily option and use their
changing rooms
