This was our first spa/bath experience in Budapest. We thought it was one of the ancient traditional Turkish bath type. Well... The lovely Turkish bat you see on the pictures and the website is only for men. But nobody told you that!
So you have the choice between two small hot bath and a far too hot one on the ground floor plus the small panoramic one outside on the roof. Not really what we expected. Very disappointing indeed.
So if you have only one spa to go, don’t choose this one!

Nothing like it in any other country I have traveled to. Immaculately clean baths, pools and changing areas. What a great way to relax in the middle of a vacation. A couple of hours is enough to enjoy this on a winter day. The old part - built in the 16th century was interesting, and the new part was state of the art. Highly recommend.

I went on a Tuesday (females only day), it cost 4,000ft for the thermal baths, you get a wrist band to get into the cabin, you get a bed sheet and apron, so bring your own towel and slippers. Shower before getting into the baths and sauna. There are 5 pools ranging from 42 degrees to 28 degrees and an immersion pool of 14 degrees. 2 saunas, a steam one and a hot coal one. It was such a relaxing experience, went from the hottest bath to the coldest one, also to the saunas. The best one for me was the 36 degree bath, I could take a nap in there lol. And also the 30 degrees bath. I think I spent about 2hrs in there, and was totally worth the experience. There’s also a swimming pool, rest area and restaurant.

Awful experience here. Overcrowded, smelly, dirty, overpriced. They say they have 5 thermal baths, they have one medium size thermal bath with four little tiny baths in the corners of the room. I was so stressed out in the bath with the amount of people and the smell of rotten eggs and urine. We left after 5mins and down 40 euro. Would not recommend.

Gellert baths are much better.

Per person the amount is 6500huf (around 20€) BUT you have to bring a towel otherwise you pay 4000huf (12€)JUST to rent it! And, if you want a cabine for yourself to get undressed you pay 7000huf (21€), more than the price of the spas. Quite shocking. And the employes don't have a correct attitude, they are not very nice: it was my first time in thermal baths and whatever you ask they look bored to answer your questions. Abd another thing: we didn't see the ottoman baths.... Maybe because most infos are not translated into English.
