Terrible experience. We had only been there 5 minutes to have our expensive towels stolen as when approaching staff for help we were advised it was not their problem. If you are going take cheap washed out towels and when you hire towels I observed people picking anyone’s up that had the Budapest spa local which were the rented ones.

The place is bursting at the seams with tourists and you can’t find any free space the the cramped roof spa or the thermal ones. They are letting far to many visitors in at once. Worst spa ever I have been to. Shocking and awful stayed 30 minutes and couldn’t wait to get out the place

Bought 3 tickets two weeks in advance. Turned up today at 5pm reception jam packed and people Queuing Down the street. Managed to squeeze In to reception and get our bands but then had to queue with everyone trying to buy tickets and the queue to enter the baths. Reception was so full this was very difficult. It was like a train station at rush our with no trains. Waited 20 minutes and did not move but they were still selling hundreds of tickets!!!! If we had got in i doubt we would have had any room at all in the pools. We gave the bands back and went back to the hotel. Don’t bother.
Go to Széchenyi Thermal Bath we went two days earlier with prepaid tickets and got straight in.
