“not your regular swimming pool”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

This complex of pools is a great way to spend an afternoon. The indoor pools are very ornate. The outdoor wave pool can remind you of waves at the ocean. Massages are also available.

“waste of money”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

We wanted to visit a spa during our trip to budapest, and this one seemed to be the most touted. Everything about this was a disappointment. Long line to pay to get in. Confusing directions once in the spa. Expensive. We sat smashed in a hot pool- more lukewarm than hot. We went to go to the thermal pool, which is actually freezing cold. You have to buy a swim cap to go it. Crowded. Dirty. Don't waste your money, try one of the other spas.

Reviewed September 4, 2013

Loved the spa. If you're in Budapest you definitely need to visit this iconic place.

Mini wave pool - tons of fun. Wish my kids were there
Spa pools - so many to choose from... of all different temperatures, and natural spring water - SUPER CLEAN
Fun happy environment

Staff attitude is so very - go home now, I don't want to work.
Locker space
Price isn't cheap

“Not bad”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

Is more a historic building, than wonderful day at the baths. First of all the place is a maze and is very easy to get lost. No need to get a cabin if you are going by yourself. What to bring:

- Swimming cap

And if you don't like public pools, saunas, turkish baths. Don't visit this place!

“a taste of the old luxury”
Reviewed August 31, 2013

Well this is an imposing place. Scary almost. But once inside you love it. The cold pool is v v cold. The warm one perfect. The decoration is very Victorian. Could be an amazing set for a miss Marple or sherlock Holmes case.

The single sex bits were awesome. Very hot saunas. Steam rooms you couldn't see in and massages that were excellent.

Well worth a visit
