We travelled end of season in November and used our Budapest card, and after a few times of getting lost on the trams we found it. the staff didnt speak much english but the young man on the desk told us what to do, we had our own towels but no flip flops but it wasnt a problem. we didnt need a swim cap eve though we took them. really lovely, though hard to navigate the outside pool was lovely and lights up at night1 we really enjoyed it id visit this one again no probelm, had no problems with anyone here.

We went here because the bath we were going to visit was closed. What a mistake, rather didn't go. It was quite clean but the personnel was SO rude. The lady at the ticket office was annoyed by something and was looking as if she was sitting out her time. We asked for towels and slippers and had to rent these upstairs at the changing cabins. When we got there, there was a young man at the desk. When we asked for towels and slippers he was like: o my god... Do I really have to walk to the back for you and get towels and slippers. He was sighing too much! Then he came back and said he didn't had any. So we paid the entrance but then didn't have anything to enjoy a wellness day. The bath was very busy! And there were a lot of couples touching eachother. Besides that a man came up to us (me and my friend) and said: looking very good ladies, drewling. Never go here!

Don't get me wrong, this is a lovely place to chill out (or heat up!) and if it was the only thermal bath in the city then it'd be a 'must do'. However I've been to other baths in Budapest that are bigger and prettier.

You will find an indoor bath which is pretty warm, two swimming pools and a warmer pool with water jets, as well as a sauna and plunge pool. There are other therapies e.g. massage, mud packs but I think you have to pay extra for those.

Oh and if you have long hair take a swimming cap as you'll need it to be allowed in the pools.

The baths are ok, but run by a group of thugs who try and shake you down as you leave. They will assault you as you leave, and as is in eastern europe no one will care. Avoid if you care for your life. Pity you cant give 0 out of 5.

This thermal bath is not one of the famous ones in Budapest but very plesant. It´s not crowded with tourists but popular among local people. People are relaxed here and the atmophere is friendly. Absolutely worth trying!
