You have to go to one of the baths when you are in Budapest, Szechenyi were recommended to us, because of the outdoor pools and the lighting at night - and it was amazing! It was the most magical experience swimming outdoors in the snow, at dusk with the light show.an absolute must do - would recommend getting a cabin rather than just a locker.

What would be cooler than float in a 38c outside pool when it rains sleet? Nothing!

Spent a few hours here and tried every pool except the cold ones (20c). You feel a bit lost 'cause almost everything is in hungarian so you don't understand much what the pools are about. Don't mind it, just go with the flow (try the bigger outside pool and you'll understand the flow).

I was a bit suspicious about the cleanleness of the place but it was okay, Flipflops would've been nice though. Understand also the difference of a sheet and a towel if you have to rent. We used hotel towels. The cabins are suitable for two unless you are an elephant.

Lots of different pools and rooms, fair price and decent food. Try the 60-80°c Hofok, intense! Highly recommended!

Great facilities - 3 outdoor pools - one with rapids, one for lane swimming (have to wear a swimming hat for this, can buy there, otherwise not allowed in), and a hot one, and many indoor pools, ranging from plunge pools to really warm. The hot pools were amazing, just like stepping into a bath! The facilities were generally clean, and although the pools were busy in the summer, this was not a problem. There are also deck chairs available (small charge), refreshments and secure cubicles. Can also book treatments, such as massages. It's a good price (about £10 for a day) for what you get. All in all, a very relaxing experience in the fresh air and warm water - much needed amidst the hustle and bustle of the city!

Hot water pools just under snow is an excellent experience for winter guests. All in all it is quite clean for public baths, there not many people at 9 of morning. You can enjoy indoor pools and saunas too. To try everything available it'll take 2 or 3 hours. Recommended for families with children.
