If you are in Budapest then this place is a must, so relaxing, lots of different pools to use after the hot spa

Go early morning or with special ticket or advance booking . Depending on your taste and liking for public bath and massage ( costly ) you can spend a day or few hours . Lots of good private baths options are available in budapest . Your choice .

We bought our tickets at the hotel and went right in, which was nice. You can rent towels, but we brought them from the hotel. If you are going to fully shower after, you might want to bring 2 towels. One to walk around with and one for after shower. We started outside, beautiful November day - then sampled all the pools inside. It's definitely something to experience while you're in Budapest :-)
We were going to go sunday afternoon, but our tour guide suggested we go Monday morning - which was an excellent suggestion. we arrived at 10am - left by 1 and it was getting very crowded when we left - but was just fine when we were there. Avoid the weekend if possible, and it seems like morning is better.

The baths are big, beautiful and nice... The indoor pools are ok, although very noisy... The outdoor pools are very good too, although very crowded... Overall, it is a very good experience

Before I say anything, just know, this place is gorgeous. My wife and I were there when the flowers in front were in full bloom. The facility is very modern and clean, but this is a big place. It's easy to get lost here. The clientele were quite a bit younger than at other spas we visited in Budapest. I prefer something a little more intimate and quiet. With that said, I highly recommend Szechenyi if your looking for an adventurous party type atmosphere.

This is a truly special experience for your visit to Budapest!
Wasn't top of my list of attractions to visit before but was by the end.
Takes a bit of working out what to do and where to go but relaxing inside and outside in different temperature thermal spas was really special.
We were exceptionally lucky with the weather - warm and blue skies in ...November!

Bring your own towel, otherwise you can rent a towel and/or bathrobe. There is a large outdoor pool and several indoor thermal baths (no Jacuzzi). The water was not extremely warm. Also available is wet sauna. Recommend the VIP massage package.

Enjoyed our day here but it was very over crowded. There was a lot of waiting around to get into some pools but the main bath outdoors was lovey and spacious.

Personally I think it could be a bit cleaner as there was some rubbish left in some areas.

The women at reception was lovely and welcoming but all the other staff we encountered were very rude. As we were returning our towels there was a large que while the women at the desk was just chatting and eating biscuits with her colleague... confronted her about this and she replied very rudely in broken English.

Gorgeous place but word of advice take own towels and dressing gowns if you can as expensive. Can hire a cabin for a couple of £ more than lockers which I’d recommend. I’d also recommend putting money on a fob when you pay as you don’t have to worry about carrying money then.
Enjoy it’s lovely

Spent almost a whole day here. So many different pools to choose from. Is quite crowded during peak season. I thought it was a little bit overpriced for what we got, nonetheless it is definitely worth a visit!
