walk around the park and the castle called VAJDAHUNYAD. This was only an 'exhibition booth' on the Celebration of Millenar, from paper and wood, but the people liked it so much that from donations they built it up from stone and brick. Many different palace and castle from the territory of the historical Hungary can be found here as a part or fragment. The biggest building give plae to the Agricultural Museum. I always feel 100s of year history around me when i visit this place.
I did not give maximum, because i think more english text- information would be necessary for turist to know where they are, what they see.

We happened upon this musuem by chance in the park beyond Heroes Square. It was our lucky day! Even if you didn't go inside it is worth wandering around the buildings they are so beautiful but for 1.500flt you would be mad not to go in. It is based on a real Transylvanian Castle and was originally made of cardboard but was so popular it was subsequently built for real. The area around the museum is being restored care of EU support and is only going to get better as they reline the lakes for boating and lesuire. We thought the museum was shut but you have to be brave and open the huge door and go in. I have never seen anything like it! Google images doesn't do it justice. It is a Hogwarts/cathederal/Heraldic jaw dropping space..can't describe it any better (!). You just have to go and see for yourself..and we had the place to ourselves.........these vast, vaulted rooms full of the strangest things.....beautifuly painted ceilings and stained glass doors and windows. We were so glad that we visited this museum. Highly recommended.

I was in Budapest for five days and to live there the new year, so I visit most of Budapest atraction. I did not know what was that castle with such different architectural style. It was dark when I arrive so I could not see the interiors, but I was verry impressed by the exteriors. I intend to return in Budapest in summer to see what I could not see this trip, and maybe i will see all of this great monuments.
