A splendid little museum, with lots of high-quality exhibits, but not too much to take in in a couple of hours. Try also to go to the Railway Museum in Vadasz utca if you are interested in trains - lots of hands-on stuff to do there.

In the city park a building full of big trains and cars - what else you need with kids? Wonderful exhibition.

Great museum located in Varosliget, the City Park. I forget the enctrance fee, but it was not much. A great place to take your kids as well. Inside you will find old antique steam trains, motorcycles and cars as well as the landing module of one of the Soviet space stations, which was interesting seeing. Worthwhile visiting on a cold or rainy day !
