I chronicle our travels hopefully as a legacy for our children or perhaps our as yet non-existent grandchildren. I take the time to review each travel venue and determine which attractions have hold some photographic equity, but this one wasn't on the radar!
My wife and I were visiting Hero's Square and noticed the imposing sight of the tower of Vajdahunyadvar in the distance and on investigation found a pretty impressive copy of a Transylvanian castle housed within equally impressive grounds. The place is home to the Hungarian Agriculture Museum - which I am sure is worth a visit in itself but for us the architecture and the grounds were enough to capture our attention for an hour or so.
Easy to get to on the metro - make sure it's on the travel radar!
