“Worth visiting”
Reviewed August 6, 2014 via mobile

I liked this museum. They had a temporary exhibit on posters and commercials.

Staff was polite and spoke English. I would recommend this hotel.

“Amazing building - interesting displays”
Reviewed July 27, 2014 via mobile

I actually liked this place better than some of the other museums in the area. The building all by itself was worth seeing. So beautiful. Then add great displays with good discriptions. Friendly staff and a fair price to get in. No extra cost for using your camera (though no flash allowed). Only took about 1 -2 hours to see depending on how long you linger at each display. Well worth a visit.

“An interesting museum with a range of things to see”
Reviewed July 7, 2014 via mobile

Spent many hours looking around this museum. Easy to get to on tram No. 4.

The art nouveau exhibition was especially rewarding with many examples of the work of craft masters.

“fun museum for an hour or so”
Reviewed June 16, 2014

The museum's architecture is wonderful with lots of faux moorish touches. The exhibits had some interesting pieces - I wish there were more local works and less works from the Tiffany collection. Perhaps that is because I have already been to tiffany galleries. The art nouveau rugs are amazing - almost like Pop art from the 1960's. The Islamic textile exhibit upstairs will be fascinating to anyone interested in Middle Eastern rugs. The gift shop was a bit disappointing.

On a rainy day in Budapest we visited this museum. Very impressive collections and well worth a visit. The Art Nouveau glass was stunning.
