“Excellent Hotel”
Reviewed February 26, 2014

The room was clean and quite big. The street was quiet, no shops or bars that made noise until late in the night.
The staff was very helpful and friendly, and they all spoke good English. There was even a German TV channel on the TV.
For the low price (40 Euro per night, tax not included) this hotel is just the thing for Budapest. You are close to a metro and bus station adn only 10 minutes walk from the Danube.

This hotel is great value for money however it did feel to be in a bit of a dodgy dark street for a woman travelling on her own. It is in a great location though, close to a metro stop and one of the train stations plus easy to walk to the parliament building and other tourist spots. The room was fine but there was a toilet smell. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

I stayed in last week of December-2013 and found this place as value for money.
Rooms were too good (dont forget to keep a towel on the floor in bath area).
Staff is very helpful. They helped us in booking several tickets and helped us with city maps and assisting about the right place to visit.
Bus station is near by which takes you to central market.
If you love to walk and see Budapest beauty then its worth walking...
I would like to see some more options for vegetarians in breakfast ..But it was very good.
Budapest is a tourist friendly place and one must visit it. Take HoHo Bus or city tours..
Do visit chain bridge in day and night (before 12 as they switch off the lights at mid night)..
Hot wine , cake and cheese roll near to chain bridge is must has thing.

Room Tip: They will give you the best room.

We stay in this hotel for 2 night in 3 bed room with shower. The room was very nice and clean. Hotel is in quiet part of city near main railway station and metro station "blue". We didn´t use a metro for transportin to centrem of city. It was so near to Parlament :) Breakfest was deliciouse. For example We have a bacon with potato salat, great'! The personal was very pleasant!! I would like to come back:) Thank you so much.

Modest hotel, close to public transport.
Room is modest but the staff did nothing to make it look any better... We had to ask to get the room hoovered :-(
Apart from that it was fine.
Would I recommend it? Of your expectations are not too high then go for it.. Otherwise plenty of other hotels in town.
Enjoy!

Well, the hotel is modest, but nice and well located, close to metro station. The staff is very welcoming and can advise you in most subjects relevant for tourists. By the way, you can buy tickets for attractions and transport on the desk. You can ask umbrellas for free :)
The breakfast is standart for such hotels. Some mall is in 5 minutes walk for shopping.

Room Tip: As far from the entrance as better

My stay in Budapest was just amazing, because of my stay in this hotel. The owner is very nice, speaking perfect english and gave us a lot of advices about city. The location of the hotel is in center, close to the train station. Room was spacious, clean with big bathroom. I got last minute price, which was ridiculously low and it was incredible value for this price. Breakfast was average, but for price I paid it was better than expected.
