Been here with my husband and had a good time. The staff was great, very polite and helpful. Our room was nice and clean. The neighborhood is kind of scary at the late evening, homeless were hanging out in the underground path to the hotel.

I recently stayed here with my husband for a short break. The staff are the hotel's biggest asset as they are friendly, professional and extremely helpful from the check-in staff to the bell captain to the waiters. The room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast is pretty good with hot and cold choices. The restaurant lacks atmosphere however and is very drab and old-fashioned. A revamp is badly needed and even some candles would make a difference at night (we ate here on 1 evening and it was only average - waiters were super though).

The location of the hotel is good as it is a 5 minute walk from Keletti station with great transport links. You can walk to the river in about 15/20 mins. We spent a lovely couple of hours on a cruise on the Danube.

I have just returned from a leisure trip to this hotel, and considering it is part of the Best Western group, it was not up to the standard I have come to expect (I will be contacting Best Western directly about this).

THE PROS:
1) The hotel is very clean, and the rooms are cleaned to a high standard
2) The hotel is very close to the M2 metro line and one of the main railway stations
3) The room had a powerful and hot shower, great to wake you up

THE CONS:
1) Not all the staff are well mannered, the gentleman on the check in desk was surly
2) The hotel is very dated now, and does not deserve it's 4 star rating
3) The spa facilities in the hotel cost extra, and are again dated
4) Breakfast costs extra, when other Best Westerns in the region include this as standard
5) Lots and lots of coach tours (often comprising of school children) use this hotel, so it can be noisy

On my trip to Krakow, during the New Year 2013, I`v stayed one day in Budapest in this hotel. I like it because of it`s location. You are walking distance from the center, and near the railway station. Hotel is comfortable (not as much as it was 10 years ago). Rooms are nice, clean, not too big. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly. I would recommend it to my friends.

This was a very fine hotel to stay in. Walking distance to many attractions. The Rooms were clean and neat. The staff were friendly but took their jobs seriously. I would recommend a view of the main road.
