Worth going up to check out the statue, but don't miss the very famous Gellert Hotel whilst in the area! Don your costumes and swim amongst statues, columns and gargoyle fountains and go right back in time. Lots of swimming pools in this hotel and also lots of really warm thermal baths both inside and on the rooftop where lunch can be bought from the restaurant. Expect to pay £15 to enter inside the baths and you will have to pay for a bathing cap too. Best to go in your cossies as a "cabin" is extra if you need to change your clothes. Beware too the locking systems of the lockers. Do make sure you hear the click of the back of the watch they give you otherwise you could walk off thinking you've locked everything up safely and the locker could still be open!
