“Walk in the tree tops”
Reviewed April 30, 2013

A great place to walk in Budapest (if you don't mind walking uphill!). The paths seem to wind on forever! It's peaceful to walk among the tree tops, listening to the birds.

Our kids really enjoyed exploring the hill. On the south side there are some good playgrounds about half-way up. Bring water and a snack and enjoy the free views!

“Amazing views”
Reviewed April 30, 2013

The walk up the hill wasn't as long or as tiring as I thought it would be.
The path could do with a bit of redecorating but all in all it was fantastic, the views were breathtaking and you had a full 360degrees view of Budapest - would be an amazing place to propose at night time with all the lights and views.

“What a view.”
Reviewed April 30, 2013

Stunning view, chill out park. If you not a walking freak, get tram nr. 6 to end station, cross main street and grab bus 27 to the top. Watch for sign on right Citudella, get off here. 200 mtr. walk to top.

“FANTASTIC VIEW OF BUDAPEST AND DUNABES RIVER”
Reviewed April 28, 2013

We went ur to the hill by our tourist -bus as we travelled with group.
In my opinion the reason to go there is only the great view of Dunabes river in between Buda and Pesti. Really is wonderfull ,especially if the weather is good.
At Gellert Hill you can also see the Walls, and the Statue of Liberty.
Along the street they sell souverir and i saw only one cafe. There is also a park, if you like to walk and have a kind of relax.
