“disappointed”
Reviewed October 3, 2012

It has slipped in quality and service. However the price has well increased. Had a major disagreement with parking attendant. One said we are allowed to park in public carparking spaces with a disability permit. The other one said no,it is not allowed. So we had to walk from the car half the hill down with a disabled person. What a hospitality for a few cents???

“What a walk, but well worth it”
Reviewed October 3, 2012

We walked to the top of the hill, it is a very hard walk, but you can get the 27 bus which takes you near to the top. It is well worth the visit, the statue is very impressive and the views across the city is out of this world.

“Best time at sunset”
Reviewed September 23, 2012

It's the best time to climb the Gellert Hill at sunset in fair weather. The view is glorious.
It was a bit scary climbing it alone through the thick wood, so better do it in a reliable company.
The picture of the city with igniting lights is marvellous.
Consider your way back as in autumn months, when days are shorter there could be no buses running from there after sunset
