We went for a quick walk around the zoo on a very hot evening. The zoo was pleasant to walk around as it was very shady and tidy. The animals looked content even in such hot weather and there were lots of baby animals about which was lovely (according to the signs 2013 is the "baby boom year"). There were lots of animal houses to look in and plenty of good facilities such as a big park and a cafe. It closes quite late (7pm) which we were happy about as we were busy in the day and the price was good especially since you can get a discount with the budapest card. Over all it was not the best Zoo I have ever been to but really good none the less.
