We walked through the park to visit the flea market. I am not an expert on flea markets but i really enjoyed this one . There were lots of watches, cameras and communist memorabilia as well as toys and general brick-a-brac. Also lots of stalls with clothes ( including second hand Primark!!).
I am not a natural haggler but enjoyed haggling down the vendor for 3 old postcard including a 1940's Christmas card from 3,000HUF to 1,000HUf for all three ( I was 1 euro in Paris for a similar card) I also haggled for a lovely brooch set with a tiger's eye. A successful day.

Wear comfy shoes as the park is gigantic. There's loads to see and do and it's very beautiful in the sunshine, I visited in the summer and got sunburned.

This park has a number of features, but is just a little scruffy round the edges. Sundays feature a gigantic flea market in a music centre. Szechenyi Btahs, within the park, are well worth spending time at

There's a lot to do: the Szechenyi baths, a flea market on saturdays and sunday, visiting the outside of the agricultural musuem (beautiful) or just have a picnic. Great place to see a little green.

I was here twice. Once on May 1, when the park was filled with vendors and ordinary Czechs (and a few tourists). Once on May 2 to go to the Szechenyi Spa Baths. The zoo is here, kayaks can be rented for a paddle around the lake, and there are a couple of good restaurants within the park.
