Amazing place, a little way out but use the Hop on Hop off buses to get there and see the best of Budapest getting there and back

Not a lot to see here but however it is beautiful to look at. Places around are also a good for sightseeing!

The monuments are impressive and the space around them contributes to that effect. They are symbolic of Hungarian history as explained by the audio on our hop on hop off bus tour.

I walked all the way down Andrassy street to get to Heroes' Square. A lovely large square but very busy with tourists. The Millenium Monument is in the square. To the left is the Museum of Fine Arts and to the right is the Palace of Art. A must see.

Historical and nationalistic. Good for photos and spending 15 min. Not on important tourist list but if you have time you can visit it. It is on tge pest side.

This is a must see monument with a large, open, airy atmosphere. The bronze sculptures are amazingly lifelike and represent all of the historically significant figures of Hungary through the years. This monument also serves as the entrance point for a wonderful city park complete with a castle.

Went to visit hero’s square as part of appreciating the history of Budapest. Humbling and good reminder of times gone by

A very impressive square a couple ok km out of the city centre. It celebrates the 1000 years since the Magyar conquest and is as a tribute to the unknown of past wars. It next the the Spa and City Park.

Mighty view!
But if you're traveling solo and don't take any guided tours then you should read the before hands, because a lot of information (even in other places) are mainly in Hungarian.
But the statues are massive!
