“Tour Guide made it worth the stop”
Reviewed June 10, 2013 via mobile

The tour guide shared the history that each large statue commemorated and added lots of context. Without his direction we would not have stopped. Parking is a challenge. Watch out for busses in the parking area. Ignore the "vendors." Especially ignore the iPhone salesmen.

“Historic square”
Reviewed June 10, 2013

On every tour group’s itinerary it can get busy at such times with added hawkers peddling guide books and knitted jackets. But the square is big enough. The statues are large and interesting but without a guide to explain the significance of what one is looking at a visit will not be as meaningful.

“It was ok...”
Reviewed June 9, 2013

It was just a square to me and I chanced upon it after visiting the par and the Szechenyi Baths.

There was a small parade going on and the soldiers look sloppy with their March.

“Fantastic”
Reviewed June 8, 2013 via mobile

Well worth a visit, not only for the monuments but its proximity to many other 'must sees'. Walk up Andréssy and enjoy some spectacular examples of buildings.
