“Christmas Market”
Reviewed December 29, 2012

MUST SEE and TASTE! If you come during the week leading up to Christmas, you must eat and shop. Tons of local crafts for fair prices. Chimney cake is delicious! Plenty of hot wine, coco and cider.

“Pretty, touristy, pricey”
Reviewed December 6, 2012

Lots of stores and eateries. Most of the stores are geared toward the tourist. There were regular department stores like H&M and American fast food like McDonalds and Burger King. Great for walking and looking around. There are a couple of nice wine and liquor shops located here.

“Tourists and those looking to take advantage of them!”
Reviewed November 17, 2012

To be fair, Vaci is a beautiful pedestrian street. At one end you'll find a square where activities take place all year. Expect prices to be higher here then elsewhere in the city and just keep saying no thanks to those that approach you or try to hand you a flier.

“nice pedestrian street”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

Too turistic and expensive (not great) restaurants. If there are people interested in american chain restaurants- there are plenty. Nice to walk on a pedestrian street and see the people, stores...

“Nothing to write home about”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

The street had several great shops but it was let down with the various restaurants that were toting for custom which was very off putting. There are many little bars and food places that are just off the beaten track which are very good. There is an Ice bar towards the end which is very reasonable entry price and great for the experience only 990ff with two non alcoholic drinks together with entry fee.
