The place is beautiful by itself. If you want to see something curious about this place, I would recommend you to go on the right side of the basilica and enter in the holy hand chapel. Is free of charge, and you can see the Saint Stephen conserved hand, that died in 1038.

This is simply one of the most breathtaking Catholic cathedral's we have been to and trust me it's not just beautiful from the outside but many times more splendid from the inside as well.

This city is just full of amazing architecture. From the outside this building looks magnificent but step inside and it is a masterpeice. You can also go up to the viewing balconies on the top of the building for a great panorama of the city

One of many spectacular cathedrals in Europe, but even so, this will not disappoint. Suggested donation HUF 200 (50p). In the middle of Central Pest so easy to get to.

It is a very boring church from the beginning of the 20th century, it is definitely not worth visiting. Ok, you can see the right hand of St. Steven the first Christian king of Hungary and that's it. But! go to the roof terrace and you will have the best view you get from the Pest side. (From the Buda side it is the Citadella which is an uninteresting fortress, but the view is great.)
