“Fine acoustics, impressive art”
Reviewed October 24, 2012

We went to one of the regular organ concerts here, which also featured an impressive baritone and a gifted flautist.

“Best views from the top!”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

What an impressive building, both inside and out! Make sure you visit the viewing point at the top of the dome, most amazing views of the city from there. Also pay 200 forint to the man stood next to the hand so you can have a good view and get some pictures.

“Thursday Evening organ concert”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

You can get tickets right before the concert, which is at 8PM. As mentioned in previous reviews, just buy the cheapest tickets, as you are only going for the acoustics. Once you are inside, you really can sit anywhere. It was a bit long in our opinion (about an hour?), and surrounding people seemed to be falling asleep or uncomfortable in their seats. The seats are not comfortable and are creeky and they keep the lights pretty bright during the concert. The highlight for us was when the singer or flute player played with the organ.
