“A beautiful bridge in a beautiful city”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 7, 2013

The bridge is quite romantic and artistic. Be sure to walk across and appreciate how rapidly the waters of the Danube flow. See the bridge in daylight and at evening because these are 2 very different perspectives. The bridge at night is beautiful beyond belief. Long may it reign.

“Very pretty at night”

A lovely bridge and a must for a visit to Budapest. Very romantic at night and creates a lovely central point to the city.

“One of a kind Bridge”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 6, 2013

there are various statues you along this bridge. Nice way to walk across the Danube. It is a pedestrian only bridge. there were people during the day....crowded but not unbearable.

“I expected more”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 5, 2013

I expected this bridge to be more spectacular, but in my opinion even the other bridge, the green one (Szabadsag Hid) looked nicer. Like other bridges, it's full of people and bikers.

“Better at night”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 3, 2013

Chain Bridge can be very busy traffic wise, also you may have to dodge people shooting across the pedestrian walkway full tilt on push bikes,

We thought it was better at night, all lit up and not as busy.
