“Beautiful by night”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

must see it all lit up at night. Very big and wide so takes a good 10 mins to walk over it. Walk along the side through the day and see the famous shoes left at the river side from World War 2.

“iconic”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

Well, it's a bridge across the Danube!

The first at Budapest. A classic C19 suspension bridge.

And the reason for Buda and Pest becoming Budapest.

“Amazing, especially at night”
Reviewed April 7, 2013

This is one of the most lovely Bridges I've seen. If you are into photography, go right at sunset when there is enough light to see the surrounding areas, but the lights of the bridge and Castle Hill have been turned on. There is this mystical effect of the lights that almosts transports you back to another era. We also got big photos around midnight and those we great too. Although make sure you come before then - at the end of March the lights turned off at that time!

“Chain Bridge”

Beautiful both day and night. Check out the museum on Castle Hill to see the photo of the bridge after the bombing. A great historical landmark and the first bridge to connect Buda and Pest.

“If you like bridges..”
Reviewed April 6, 2013

Obviously, the views are good day and night, and it has it's historic connotations, but it still is just an old big bridge.
