One of the best-known landmarks of Budapest. Located on the river bank in the nice surrounding and easy to approach. Excellent interior and remarkable exterior.

Wonderful building both outside and in the interior. Designed by Imre Steindl, a rich Neo-Gothic building based on the London Houses of parliament and built between 1885 to 1902. Well worth a visit and you have to buy tickets for guided tours which are offered in many languages. A must visit when in Budapest.

We walked along the promenade, past Shoes on the Danube and stopped in for a tour of Parliament before walking to St Stephen's Basilica. Glad we walked in for a tour instead of just admiring the exterior, which looks amazing from anywhere in the city and especially from across the river.
