“Simply Beautiful Interior.”

Take the tour, but arrive EARLY for tickets (read, 8am!) I don't actually remember much of what the guide said, a few details here and there, as I was much too enthralled in the beauty of the building. Impressive from the outside, amazing on the inside.

We were there on the 23/10/2012 which is a public holiday to commemorate the start of the Hungarian uprising on that date in 1956. Huge parade.

One of the most beautiful buildings in Europe, is best seen from a river cruise or you can take one of the hop on hop off buses which are good value for money esp if you have heavy drinking session the night before

very poignant place but the walkway around which visitors are obliged to pass is rather untidy, could be improved

“A Really Impressive Building”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 4, 2012

This is probably the most impressive legislative building I have every seen. Obviously no expense was spared to build this testimony to the Hungarian national spirit. We tried to get tickets for the tour on our own but were unsuccesful. as they were sold out. Managed to book tickets through the concierge at our hotel. There is scaffolding around some of it as part of a never ending upkeep program. Good tour and the tour guide was cheerful and knew her stuff. The organization of the line-ups to get in were a bit spotty.
