“Buda - the quiet half”
Reviewed August 15, 2014

After the hustle and bustle of Pest, Budapest is a quiet viewpoint over the Danube and Pest not to mention the oft overlooked rest of the city to the West. Start off up the funicular - fun quaint and saves those legs. Take a one hour tour on a Segway from the Tourist Office by St Mattius church. They use off-road X2s which smooth out the cobbles a treat. Come back down on the 16 bus and have a drink at The Sailors inn

Beautiful place. A must go for tourist. Great place for some nice views and to look at some really beautiful architectures.

“Good Castle”

Buda Castle is a place well worth seeing. The design is attractive and it's sits perched on a hill with good views of the city.

“Visit the castle with the Hop On Hop Off bus”
Reviewed August 9, 2014

A good way to see the castle would be to take the Hop On Hop Off bus tour (starting point at Erzsebet Ter). The bus passes many historical land marks, where you can decide if you would like to alight, view the attraction and get on the next bus. We did not stop at any of the earlier stops but made the 1st stop at the castle. Beautiful castle with nice photo opportunities. From the castle you are able to see the beautiful city of Budapest, with the Danube River, Chain Bridge and the Parliament Building. Spent at least 2 hours there, including the wait for the next bus, as the place was packed with tourist who came to visit the castle.

“Beautiful sightseeing, but nothing else”
Reviewed August 9, 2014

The building is very beautiful, impressive architecture and the view from the hill is mesmerizing. yet there is nothing else to it. Inside the building there is an art museum. yet I find it disappointing that there was nothing about the history of the place.
