Quaint, and spectacular views across to Pest. Lots to see, and has places to eat. Just the right side of touristy.

Great architecture, brilliant views of the Danube and Parliament building, the church is well worth a visit. Visit the little market for some mementos`.

Beautiful and wonderful views. Views of parliament and views of Pest skyline are the best and even though very cold it is worth it.

How do you visit budapest and miss a visit to the castle area - one bit of advice DON'T.
great views, lots of interesting sights, plenty of bars and cafés.
Reached by either metro, tram, bus, on foot (for the energetic) or via the vehicular railway.
There was a really interesting hungarian guy offering a guided tour at the royal palace... take it or leave it, he was a funny guy.
