We were at this hotel for 2 nights before we started a cruise on the Danube. The location was ideal as we walked to the cruise ship. We could easily walk to all the major attractions, shopping and restaurants. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, even though we spoke no Hungarian. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Irecently visited this hotel with my sisters,we were in Budapest trying to find family we had never met,and might I add we found them.We had a suite as there were 3 of us,the hotel was in the very centre of budapest it was amazing, although we spoke very little hungarian the staff understood and were very helpful. The suite we had was very spacious we had 2 bathrooms,3 showers and a bath, there was also a sauna in the suite in which we drank champagne to celebrate finding an aunt we had never met.We sayed at the hotel for 4 days.
Although we didnt eat at the hotel the menus looked amazing
Budapest was a wonderful city, clean and friendly, the local people loved it if ,we spoke hungarian to them as did the hotel staff. The best weekend ever.I would definately stay at this hotel again,in fact I cant wait to go again.

Room Tip: family suite, very spacious and comfortable

We have stayed at this hotel twice in the last year. The location cannot be beaten and now that it has gone non-smoking raises it higher in our estimation. The value could not be beaten and the staff is excellent. I am sure that we shall find ourselves back in Budapest in the not too distant future and we will stay here again.

Excellent staff, great facilities. We took the Privilege option which gave us a bigger room, free snacks all day and wine in the evening from 5-7pm. Whilst we were there all of the lifts were out of service on at least two occasions but as it was a national holiday it could have been the reason why they were not fixed. It is in an ideal location for all the sights and restaurants.

Room Tip: Take the privilege option.

This was our first visit to Budapest and we were so pleased we stayed at this hotel. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Our 14 year old daughter slept in our room on a good comfortable single bed (standard room). We had a mini fridge/bar/ room service everyday when shampoo and shower gels were replenished. The buffet breakfast was very good (hot and cold selections). There is a TV + free wi fi in the rooms (hairdryer in bathroom) and three computers for guests to access in the bar area. We used the bar area at night and our daughter surfed the internet whilst she enjoyed her hot chocolate. All staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is fantastic in the heart of the Vaci Utca area close to shops etc and close to the local metro (very easy to use one you get the hang of it).

We arrived at the hotel via the minibus from the airport which we had booked on line prior to our departure. Although, you do not need to book on line just go to the desk at the airport and they will arrange your transport. The bus actually drops you in the basement car park of the hotel so no need to worry about trying to find the hotel. The pick up for the return was simple and the driver came into reception to collect our belongings on time.

We did not know what to expect from Budapest but we were so glad we visited and are already thinking about a return visit next year and would have no hesitation staying at this hotel.

We were very pleased with everyone we met at the reception and especially appreciated the assistance and good humor of the porter Sandor. If we come back to Budapest we would certainly consider staying at this hotel again.

Not a fency hotel, but located in the best place in Budapest - in the heart of Vaci Utca. Friendly staff, reasonable rate, all speak English and willing to assist with any request you might have.
If you need a clean room, reasonable price, best location - seems that you've found a very good match !
