A solid 3-stars hotel: very clean room with a simple furniture (IKEA style?) and decorations.
Regulated AC. Spacious bathroom with good supplies. Paper-thin towels.
Nice, helpful front staff with fluent English. Free WiFi in the room with good speed.
The hotel provided a nice tray with electrical kettle, cups, spoons and a good selection of tea/coffee/sugar packets. The only one problem was that there is no electrical outlet to plug the kettle on a desk
- I have to move the whole tray to the floor in a room corner, plug-in, boil water and bring everything
back. The whole desk does not have a single electrical outlet, though it has some extra ports for phone and internet.

A real gem for ~$69 double from orbitz

Room Tip: 1. ask for a room in the main building because to reach the annex you will need to change elevators...

I visited this hotel on a three days' business trip to Budapest. The reception services were efficient with a professional English speaking staff - so was the hospitality and service in the adjacent Lobby Bar area. The breakfast buffet offered a sufficient variety and was well organized to manage the morning rush efficiently. The room was rather small but served its purpose well with all needed elements in place as did the bathroom with tub/shower and sufficient amenities. The cleanliness was impeccable but the used water bottles from the minibar were not replenished over the three days....
In the close neighborhood were a variety of restaurants/cafeés and pubs as well as delicatessen shops.
All together a stay without nasty problems and a good experience ...

On the 2nd day of our stay, the lift failed to stop and only stopped when it hit the roof, with the impact dust and bits from the ceiling fell on us. Quite scary! Then we found ourselves trapped in the lift. I rang the alarm bell but didn't receive any answer and didn't know if my call had been heard. I kept ringing the bell, by then worried that the lift would free fall down to the ground. Eventually, two members of staff helped us out of the lift, no word of apologies only that the lift did that sometimes.

I also found the room cold with no additional blanket in the room and was misled as to the price of breakfast when checking in.

Room was clean and modern. Small, though and little room to walk.
Facilities ok. Bathroom good/clean
Hum from air-conditioning all night spoilt our time there.

Reception staff friendly and eager to help.

We spent 3 nights at this hotel while on a tour of Eastern Europe. The room was very small, the walls were so thin I could hear the TV next door and even the voices of our neighbors. The closet/drawers arrangement features a sliding panel that went off its hinge several times. We finally moved it to a different part of the room.

On the plus side - location was very good. Within walking distance of the Budapest Central Market, some lovely shopping streets, and the Jewish Quarter (including the Dohany St. Synagogue, the largest synagogue in Europe that has been beautifully refurbished thanks to mucho money from American Jews of Hungarian descent.

We stopped over here on our way elsewhere in Hungary. We have always used this hotel when in Budapest and I have always found the staff to be friendly, courteous and helpful. Breakfast was the only meal we had and it was adequate and reasonably priced. The rooms were fine and clean. We booked taxis via the hotel to take us to the station and, as normal, the service was efficient and prompt.
