Hotel easy to get to from the airport, about 25-30 mins depending on whether Lewis Hamilton is driving the taxi or not!! Dont pay more than 8500HUF Should be about 8000HUF. Reception area clean spacious and typical of boutique styling. Our room on top floor commanded good views across the park to Castle district. Room was clean, spacious and décor good. Shower interesting with choice of shower heads for gentle or full blast shower experience! Water temperature good and easily controllable. Only negative on décor was landing carpet had seen better days but I'm just being picky! Breakfast was excellent with wide choice of hot and cold buffet. Don't expect an English breakfast...you are in Hungary after all!! Staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. All spoke English.
Hotel within walking distance of Pest which takes 15 minutes if you go through the tunnel!. Metro 2 is 3 minutes from hotel which takes you straight into Pest centre. Excellent restaurant over the road called the Wagon...and old railway carriage. Not cheap but good fun!
Would stay here again

Room Tip: Top floor room gives the best views...naturally!

The hotel is reasonably conveniently located. Walking distance to Buda Castle and the train station, and across from a park. The view from my window was lovely, but my room was old and extremely dated, though clean and proper. The bathroom had a handy 110V two-pronged plug, and the wifi signal was strong and clear throughout my stay. However, I found the bed and blankets to be thin and uncomfortable, and the doors are loud to open and close, so you could hear your neighbours when they came and went, even if they were quiet. Breakfast was nothing special, nor was the restaurant, except for the bread rolls that came with the food; they were amazing! The souvenir shop in the lower level was also convenient and not too badly priced.

Very nice hotel. Neat and clean rooms. Very good breakfast. Polite and helpful staff. Very close to a metro station, three station from down town. Absolutely practical for visiting the city. A little too hot in the room.

Stayed here 7-10 March 2014. Very much enjoyed our stay here. All staff spoke very good English. The reception offered us lots of leaflets and ideas of things to do and places to visit during our stay. The hotel offered a good selection of toiletries which was a godsend as we actually forgot to bring toothpaste and shampoo with us. There was one day where it was raining heavily. We wanted to purchase an umbrella from reception, however they had sold out. In the end the receptionist lent us their hotel umbrella, which I thought was a very nice gesture. I would definitely stay here again.
