Good--The hotel is near by Heroes Square. Transportation is easy. Hop on & hop off, public transit are convenient. Staffs are friendly. They let us checked in before 2:00pm. Rooms are clean and spacious. We also found a very good Chinese restaurant just located opposite to the hotel. A grocery store is located within a block.
Bad--The air conditioning is not cold enough because of the thick comforter. It will be better if they provide thin blanket in the warm seasons. Breakfast is expensive (euro$10/person).

My son stayed at this hotel for a week. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. The breakfast was great and gave us a great start to our day! I would like to mention one of employees that made us feel so comfortable during our stay. He assisted to get all questions answer so we can get the most out of our trip. His name is Fazekas Csaba. When you stay there go to him and will be sure to take care of you! He cares and wants your hotel experience to be remarkable one. I hope his Manager Tamas Motrinecz understand what an awesome employee he has! The other thing I wanted to let you know is the location of this hotel is so centrally located. It is close to the subway and buses stops. The city is easy to get around on mass transit. The hotel is close to park, museums, zoo, and hot springs. This is a great choice for hotel.

We have stayed in this minimal style decorated hotel for two nights. The hotel located near by the metro station. To reach the city center you can use the boulvard which will take 20 min on foot.On the way you can enjoy the old buildings and museums.Breakfast is fair enough.Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

We stayed three nights for a combination of tourism and some business and the location of this hotel was ideal for both the office we needed to visit and for some important sights and a very convenient Metro stop. The staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. Check in was efficient and my husband was helped with directions and where to obtain a razor on Saturday night so he could shave for his meeting (we took only carry-on luggage). The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. We didn't eat in the hotel or use any other facilities so can't comment on that but would definitely stay again.

I've visited a lot of cities to run marathons. The ideal hotel for a marathon tourist would be near the start or finish line, allow a late check out and shower after the race, have an early morning breakfast for runners, comfortable bed, in a nice enough area, and quiet enough for a good night's sleep before the race. The Ibis ticked every single one of these boxes.
Heroes Square is a lovely part of the city, with enough in the immediate surroundings to spend half a day exploring and walking around. We jumped on one of the tour buses which stop just up the road from the hotel. This was a great way of seeing around what is a beautiful city.
The location is by far the best I have ever found for a marathon weekend. It is about 1/4 of a mile from the race start/finish and expo. And it was good value. The staff very kindly allowed a late checkout time for marathoners. If any marathoner is reading this, you could not possibly do any better than booking this hotel for your race weekend.

Room Tip: Get a back room to be away from the street noise on what is a very busy street below.
