As usual Ibis delivered what was expected in this hotel. Good accomodation at an affordable price and in an excellent location which was away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We ate twice of times in the restaurant across the road 'Pater Bonifac' or as Monica our host translated to 'the fat priest' and we now know why. Thank-you Ibis and Monica at the fat priest for a lovely break in a very beautiful city

We stayed here for two nights at the beginning of November 2012.
Checkin was fast. Rooms were nice and clean.Beds were extremely comfy, TV had several channels (only a couple in English).
Breakfast was nice with the usual selection, bread, rolls, ham, cheese, salami, fruit salad, yogurts, porridge. They had scrambled eggs and steamed veg as well.
Location is very good, Heroes Square and the Underground station is very near. Outside there is a trolley bus stop as well which takes you to the centre of town (not entirely, you have to walk a couple of minutes from the last stop).
All in all a very good choice. I would recommend it.

Pleased with our stay.Everything was very good.Room, staff, position of the hotel. Our only suggestion is that the prices in hotel bar are to our oppinion high. For example a bottle of table water 0,5l has price of 750 Huf (almost 3 euro). It is about 10 times greater than price of the same bottle in supermarkets. We will come again but we will not drink water!!!
Best regards to the staff in Ibis Budapest Heroes Square hotel.

This is the Ibis Hotel I have stayed and not your typical Hotel Ibis Room. It was spacious, modern, chic decorated. The friend were very friendly and helpful in giving directions. On the contrary with Ibis Nurnberg, the hotel tariffs were very reasonable, the breakfast was very nice.

Room Tip: The rooms were very spacious, not your typical Ibis Hotel

stayed in this hotel several times. Fresh interior, friendly and helpful staff, conveniently located to main attractions of the city like heroes square, museums, galleries, thermal spa etc. Easy access to public transport (bus, underground) that take you within a few mins. to the heart of the city. Will for sure return!
