A fairly easy taxi ride from the Kelati Rail Station for 3000 HUF. Reception staff are a bit dour, a nice smile would help a great deal. They could do with a pleasant female face at the desk, especially during the daytime. There is only a cafe on site which provides basic snacks. There is a small but very adequate restaurant on the opposite side of the road and of course Gundels world famous restaurant only 230 metres away
Thanks for your review. I’m glad you had a good stay with us and I hope to see you on your next trip.
Good position, close to Metro and close to amusement park, zoo, public bath and good restaurants. Room is OK, with small bathroom. Breakfast buffet is poor. It is indeed a good value for money, compared to other hotels in the city.

I often stay at Ibis hotels as I generally travel with my dogs. All Ibis' accept pets with the payment of a moderate fee. This is one of the better Ibis hotels I have stayed in. My only criticism is the price of the parking. You can generally get a room here for the 50-60e range, reasonable enough. Parking though adds another 15e to the bill.

This hotel is in a fantastic part of town and the hotel provides easy access to Heroes Square, the park, the zoo, the spa baths and numerous restaurants. It is close to the grandest street in Budapest (Andrassy) and one can walk it's length if desired.
The front office and bar/restaurant services were superb. They helped with both tourism and necessary business matters with great efficiency.
Thank you for your very kind words. They are very much appreciated and the team will be delighted to hear that you enjoyed yourselves in our hotel.
We look forward to welcoming you back again soon.
