Recently had our Wedding Anniversary at the Hilton Budapest. Fantastic hotel - we had a large room with a view of the Danube - overlooking Parliament and the Fishermans Bastion. Breakfast was lovely, as usual with a Hilton and all staff were very helpful. The location could not be beaten, and I would recommend anyone to stay here as they would not find better anywhere in Budapest. We walked everywhere, but there are plenty of transport options to go to Pest and other areas. Fantastic break away.

Just returned from 4 days in this wonderful Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. We upgraded to a beautiful Danube view room on the top floor worth very penny. The lit buildings and bridges at night where breathtaking
Good breakfast selection served at the Icon restaurant. The beds were, comfortable king size beds, good pillows, the room beautifully clean and the housekeeping staff were kind and courteous.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a Danube view room on floor 5 or 6

I have just retuned for a weekend away to Budapest which was recommended by my son. I have to say it is one to put on your city visit list. It was made even better by staying at the hilton which is located on the hill top amongst the historic church and fort. On arrival we were offered a river view room which was on the fith floor of the hotel for 90 euros for the three nights. Well worth the money when you get to your room which has a fantastic view of the river and surrounding area. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Would defiantly stay at this hotel again if I was to visit Budapest again. Thank you for a great weekend.

I like location very much. Staying in this historical area makes you feel as a king :) If you ready to pay extra for unbelievable view that it is place for you. If you going to book now be ready to experience a bit of disturbance due to renovation of the walking area next to hotel.

Great location, on the hill, with beautiful view and easy access to all the important landmarks in Buda. The hotel itself is very interesting because it is build around an old convent. I cannot congratulate enough the concept and the way the old is combined with modern. Rooms are big and comfortable, with all the amenities one could expect in a Hilton hotel. It is the view of the river and the memory of the past that makes this place truly memorable. Staff is friendly and professional.
It is easy to get to Pest, across the river, after a short walk downhill and crossing the iconic Chain Bridge. Budapest is a vibrant European capital with so much progress in the offer of restaurants that the Hungarian tradition now becomes more difficult to find. I am a nostalgic and would not miss a visit to Gerbeaud and a walk by the river. Use the escalator when returning to the hotel.
This hotel is ideal for a romantic, short break in Budapest.

Just had the best stay in this hilton hotel, the views are amazing our room 220 looked out over the Danube River, the Parliament House and the Chain Bridge at night the views of Budapest with all the city lights, it just takes your breathe away.
The room is very large with a massive bed, very clean and all the staff in the hotel are a credit to the hotel but then Hungarian people are the friendliest I have come across, even the street market traders do not hassle you with their goods, very much easy come, easy go.
We got the hop on hop off bus a 2 day pass well worth it it includes a river cruise and the best way to see Budapest at its best.
Must see places parliament houses, hero sq, St Stephens basilica, opera house, Margaret Island hire the bikes there again a get way to see the island.
Just one word if warning it may not if happened while in Budapest but the friends we travelled with paid for a meal in a local restaurant on one of the nights next day her card gad been cloned, so my advise pay cash every where you go just to be on safe side.
Finally the food in the hilton was delicious especially in the ICON restaurant. Reception were very helpful and polite as was the lady in the bar lounge each night, nothing was to much trouble.
Very sad to be going home after our 4 nights away, will most definitely be returning to Budapest and to this hotel.
